About the Job
Brandish’s new User Experience Strategist will be a key member of the Strategic team that brings brands to life. Working together with many facets of the organization, they will develop and grow web and native-application properties of our clients towards the objectives of delighting users and achieving key business objectives.
The User Experience Strategist will have the opportunity to work with clients in a variety of different industries in a consulting context, with projects ranging from establishing web platforms for new and emerging national brands to growing already-established brands through innovative development projects.

- Creating compelling and intuitive product designs that users love;
- Leading and working through design problems from conception to launch in collaboration with cross-functional team members, including Brand, Product, and Development;
- Developing a strong understanding of our users and their needs, through qualitative and quantitative research, including usability testing and user interviews;
- Collaborating with Brand and Product to build a living design system, maintaining visual standards throughout the product development lifecycle;
- Architecting pixel-perfect designs and working prototypes, working with the Product team to hand off your designs and support the QA & launch process;
- Organizing and presenting competitor research alongside data from heatmaps, surveys & polls to both internal and external stakeholders, working to ensure our product is addressing trends & user issues; and
- Proposing unique and innovative ways to improve brand and user experience and drive client results through web, native mobile and any platform necessary.

- Familiarity with HTML, CSS and front-end web development concepts
- Knowledge of WCAG (Accessibility) requirements and designing for accessibility
- Experience working with popular UX design and prototyping software like Figma or Sketch
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web design
- Knowledge of design systems; comfortable working with, contributing to and building a design system
- Ability to manage multiple projects both solo or within a collaborative environment, while consistently delivering outstanding designs
- A deep understanding of the end-to-end iterative UX process and are passionate about resolving user pain points through beautiful and intuitive designs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with technical writing and design documentation
- Strong analytical skills and an excellent eye for detail

- 2-4+ years experience as a UX or Product Designer for web or Saas web applications
- Must have experience applying UX fundamentals, including qualitative and quantitative research, experience mapping, personas, wireframes, mock-ups, prototyping, and usability testing
- Strong information architecture knowledge with a portfolio of design work and case studies demonstrating your process
- Can be responsive and collaborative in a remote working environment
- Experience working in an agency or consulting environment is an asset
